  • "Site" refers to the website hosted on the Squarespace platform at www.tlacontractingflooring.co.uk.

2. Services and Scope of Work

Upon engaging TLA Contract Flooring for any services, the scope of the project, including materials, installation details, timeline, and costs, will be outlined in a formal quotation. Any modifications or additions to the project must be agreed upon in writing before commencement of work.

  • Quotations: All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise. After this period, prices may be subject to revision.

  • Materials: The Customer is responsible for reviewing and approving material choices before work begins.

  • Installation: Installation dates will be scheduled in advance, and TLA Contract Flooring will make every effort to complete work in the agreed timeframe. Unforeseen delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as material shortages, inclement weather, or third-party contractor delays.

3. Pricing and Payments

  • Pricing: Prices for all services, including material and labour costs, will be outlined in the quote provided by TLA Contract Flooring. Prices are subject to change based on any amendments to the scope of work.

  • Deposit: A deposit is required upon acceptance of the quotation to secure services and materials.

  • Late Payments: Invoices not paid by the due date may incur interest per month, and any legal or collection fees incurred as a result of non-payment will be the responsibility of the Customer.

4. Cancellation and Changes

  • Cancellation by the Customer: Any cancellation of services must be provided in writing at least 14 days before the scheduled start date. Cancellation within 14 days may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

  • Cancellation by TLA Contract Flooring: We reserve the right to cancel any project at our discretion. In such cases, any payments made will be refunded, excluding any costs incurred for materials or services already provided.

  • Changes to Services: Any changes to the scope of work after the commencement of the project must be communicated in writing and may result in additional charges or delays.

5. Warranty and Liability

  • Workmanship Warranty: TLA Contract Flooring provides a warranty on the installation of flooring for a period from the date of completion. This warranty covers defects in installation but does not cover damage caused by improper use, maintenance, or external factors such as water damage or fire.

  • Material Warranty: Any warranties for materials used are provided by the manufacturer. TLA Contract Flooring will assist in processing claims but is not responsible for the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

  • Limitation of Liability: TLA Contract Flooring’s liability in connection with any services or products provided shall not exceed the total value of the contract. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from delays, defects, or installation issues, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

6. Site Access and Customer Responsibilities

  • Site Access: The Customer agrees to provide access to the site during agreed working hours. This includes making necessary arrangements to clear the work area of any furniture or obstructions prior to installation.

  • Utilities: The Customer is responsible for ensuring that water, electricity, and other essential services are available at the installation site.

  • Permits and Permissions: The Customer is responsible for obtaining any required permits or permissions for work to be carried out on the property.
